The mindfulness activity - WOAH!!! Absolutely loved this and have been incorporating similar things at home!

Focusing on one topic at a time as my mind constantly is wandering to many different topics all the time.

A great reminder of staying in the moment... paced breathing techniques to use.

I allowed too many things to distract me. She gave me steps to move forward.

Tension is applied pressure. It's a catalyst for growth... it's not positive or negative, it's just pressure and how we respond makes it positive or negative!

I value the tension people bring to me to help me grow.

I know someone who attended last year and they told me this year far surpassed last year so keep up whatever you are doing!

The Illuminate experience was POWERFUL.

How repair doesn't mean we need to agree completely but can we agree on steps going forward.

My understanding and definition of repair = take something broken and make it better than before. Also that it only works if both parties are in agreement, and the timing is important!

In, Up, and Through! Such a great topic, I would take a deeper dive of this in future Illuminate conferences.

Every relationship has cracks! Focus on understanding, not agreement.

Probably one of my favorite speakers because of what I'm currently going through in my own marriage.

Step in, up and through... and not every crack needs repair right now.

The important reminder for me was the invitation piece, not the demanding or just starting to talk before the other person has time to prepare.

My favorite takeaway was 'inviting' someone to talk towards repair.

Am I becoming more of myself? Am I being helped by the people I am in fellowship with?

Be careful how much you share and with who.

I really like having a definition for different levels of intimacy. This will help me have realistic expectations from various interactions I have with people.

Jennifer put words to so many things I have been feeling and set the foundation for repair and re-evaluation of relationships in my life... It also highlighted some damage I need to address and behaviors I need to change. 10/10 impactful.

Being able to take steps back in levels of intimacy if it is not for each other's benefit.

I feel I have the tools to evaluate, determine the level and develop an action plan based off of that.

Can I actually name which level I am at honestly with my top 5 and see if it is healthy or unhealthy?

I appreciate all the planning, preparation, and prayer that went into the day! It was excellent!

A one day set apart to learn and grow and connect with women who want to grow too!!

My takeaway is that I can be more intentional about the direction I'm going that is more in line with my uniqueness.

The breakdown of DRIFT resonated with me most.

I discovered I drift in more areas than I thought... it helped me to name the areas where I need to be more intentional.

Having me rate my happiness and state where I am drifting definitely shows areas that I can work on! Amazing!

Intentionality in leaving a legacy.

'Trying to be anyone other than yourself is going to drain you.' Such an amazing statement to hear and be reminded of. I want to apply this when interacting with others.

Getting to understand your uniqueness better will help me be more intentional about the direction I'm going and how to have beneficial interactions with others.

This added insight made me aware of keeping my focus as I look to lead others.

I realized I have so much more to learn about determining someone's Intangible Drivers as well as helping understand those around me on a deeper level through their uniqueness.

Reminder that I'm not my behavior & how I can continually work on areas that I need to work on to be more aware of my blind spots.

Patty always is excellent as she is the connecting piece to the 'next thing'... she puts everything together!

Exceptional and all the best adjectives apply to Patty! She kept the show rolling and exhorted the group into controlled chaos.

The most powerful moment for me was at the end when she spoke with so much conviction and strength, saying it was our choice to use this information or not. At the end her speech helped Illuminate all of us.

No finish line in building friendships. Keep building, take off masks, choose to share more deeply. Ask questions, take time, don't rush! Need mutual trust and understanding.

Live on purpose! Be intentional, choose to act. FLOW.

I value how excellent the Illuminate conference was. The speakers complemented each other, the theme was evident on the tables, etc. Excellent planning and execution of an amazing conference! I liked the energy that Dr Ellie brought! The acronym of D.E.E.P. sharing was so helpful to be able to bring more to my husband.

Dr. Ellie! What am I not sharing with my husband? Why am I not sharing it? These questions hit HARD! It was the kick in the pants I needed.

I think the personal stories for each area were very relatable and helpful to encourage me to consider similar areas in my own life.

I enjoyed Janine's dynamic personality! She was so humorous as she nailed the thought of how critical we can be of ourselves. It was helpful to look at what I'm self conscious about physically and add a fun twist.

Jennifer definitely brought the fun and the energy in an extremely authentic way!!! I loved how she talked about the 5 different expats, and I definitely want to be someone who is bringing positivity, not judgment.

Very lively talk as Jennifer recounted her journey from focusing on herself without setting expectations to the place she is today. I'm delighted that she said she is never as happy as she is today.

I enjoyed the individual stories and how they connected to each section.

Very practical session, identify triggers as there are no zero events in the brain, only better or worse. Helpful questions and charts. Thank you for your vulnerability.

I really loved the way Laura presents. This was one of the most impactful speeches for me.
